Cinnamon a good source of Calcium? It sure is!!
It's true. Cinnamon can contain up to 28mg of calcium in just a teaspoon.
Cinnamon has been around for thousands of years and it used medicinally to treat many ailments. Cinnamon comes from the inner bark of a tree and most of these trees are in Sri Lanka, Indonesia. The oil is even said to be an effective mosquito repellant.

Health benefits of this aromatic spice have been shown to help people with diabetes by improving insulin regulation. It's even been said to assist with weight loss by increasing the metabolism. It been said to help with digestive ailments, inflammatory conditions,  and lowering cholesterol.  All this and it's high in nutrients as well. So get out the cinnamon and spice up your oatmeal, apples & toast with a healthy twist !
