Stacking Your Firewood

We have been stacking wood for a few weeks now and we don't seem to be making any progress as we are burning it as fast as we can load it.  Winter is not even here yet! Trying to stay on top of all the wood chips around the fireplace can become a part time job. We looked for some storage ideas to help keep the wood chips in one spot and found some crafty remedies that will warm up your house in more way than one.  Wrought iron, copper pots, old metal milk crates, antique barrels, wood and cast iron tubs can all be used to hold logs and kindling.
