Fireplace Grilling

By Lisa VanWilliams

Just because summer is over doesn't mean the grilling has to end.  We found these great indoor fireplace grills so you can keep on tailgating all winter long.  The flavor you get from cooking over wood is much more intense and smoky than your typical grilling.  You can also throw in hickory, mesquite, whisky, apple or cherry wood chips if you want to add a hint of smoked flavor.

We found a few options on Amazon and a range of prices:
$78 http://www.amazon.com/130-Adjustable-Surface-Cooking-20-Inch/dp/B0024NL8H0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1413217864&sr=8-3&keywords=fireplace+grill
$36 http://www.amazon.com/Steven-Raichlen-Best-Barbecue-Tuscan/dp/B0007ZGUL6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413217945&sr=8-1&keywords=fireplace+grill

The adjustable ones are easier to use so you can adjust the height depending on your fireplace flame height/level and ember level.  Not only does the food taste better, it's fun !
