Today I met with a potential new client and we did a trial run with a few recipes the family picked out. I ended up spending almost $160 on groceries from Whole Foods and I was able to make 16+ meals and 24 sides. Today we went for low carb, low sodium dishes that could be easily reheated and ready to eat in 15-20 mins. Many of my clients do not use microwaves (many people believe that microwaves take all the nutrients out of food), so they prefer to reheat in ovens and we only partially cook the chicken/fish/beef so they do not overcook when being reheated. It's all a matter of preference and convenience.
