Newport Flower Shower 2018

Tiny cottages with incredible flower beds dotted the front lawn of Rosecliff this weekend, while spectacular floral arrangements decorated the outside and inside of the mansion. Scattered showers tapered off on Saturday and it was a wonderful afternoon at the event. Bold colors, the fragrance of bouquets, and flower after flower, one more beautiful than the next.

It smells wonderful, has a nice smooth lather and rinses off easily. My skin feels wonderful and nicely moisturized afterwards. I try tons of skincare brands and this always ranks on top. Proenza Schouler Launches Arizona Eau de Parfum

Find your Arizona state of mind in an innovative fragrance of living cactus flower and creamy orris accord with afternotes of jasmine, orange blossom, solar accord, musk, and cashmeran. An Article in Harper's Bazaar 2018 called it the "Perfume of the Year" and the designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez "worked hard to make sure you could smell the sun in each mist; it's the bottled essence of daytime in the dessert".

The scent was inspired when the two designers lost cell phone service in Grand Canyon. They tuned out and tuned in and found inspiration in their surroundings. Even the bottle they chose was inspired by local crystal shops. Curvature of geodes and canyon crags helped create the imperfectures of the bottle itself. It has ridges and soft edges, it's not a bottle with clean cut lines. It has character.

The scent is nice and not overpowering and it's different than most of the other perfumes I have smelled. I like it and would recommend checking it out if you are into new scents that are not main stream.

The Baobab (bay-O-bab) tree looks like a tree that would be in a twisted Dali painting, or a tree out of Jurassic Park. It's been around for millions of years and only found in a few places like Africa, Madagascar, Arabia, and Australia. It is known as the "tree of life". It reduces drying time, minimizes static, and provides heat protection. Great for beach/pool hair. It smells great and I was happy with the detangler.

Newport Flower Show June 22-24th 2018

Start Summer off correctly with Newport, Rhode Island marked on the calendar. Time to get your tickets for the 23rd Annual Newport Flower Show at Rosecliff from June 22-24th. We are excited to be invited for our 3rd year now, and it is always impressive. This years feature will be themed cottages. Smart & small tiny homes, which are smart in both technology and style; their adjacent gardens are equally thoughtful, livable spaces, both functional and beautiful. It's a great way to spend a day at Rosecliff mansion with a majestic ocean view, see some incredible floral creations, and do some shopping on the lawn.

Show highlights will include the Opening Night Cocktail Party, Dinner & A Movie, Afternoon Tea, Champagne Jazz Lunch, Display Gardens, plus special guest Martha Stewart will be making appearances during the weekend and doing a book-signing on Saturday. Additionally, award-winning botanical artist Sarah Boynton will exhibit 25 of her pieces in the dining room of Rosecliff throughout the weekend, featuring jewelry, accessories, and beyond - all made entirely of plant material to create a stunning display.
